Mitt Romney's Alternative Energy Policy needs fixing before November 6th, 2012.

Renewable energy is belived too expensive right now in part because petroleum is considered so much more inexpensive (a debatable point when we add the price of two wars in the past decade to protect our oil interest in those two regions).

However, as the price of petroleum goes up because of scarcity, it will just become even more expensive to use petroleum to develop non renewable energy, meaning we never reach the point where non renewable energy can create more non-renewable energy.

There is a threshold point with renewable energy where if enough renewable's already exist, then more renewable’s can be created primarily from existing renewable energy sources. We are nowhere near that point, and as the price of petroleum goes up because of scarcity, we will never get to a point where alternative energy is "affordable" since most people will not stand for petroleum that could have gone into their car's tank going for research and development of more efficient renewable energy technology.

Petroleum would better serve the planet as a transitional energy source that allows for an infrastructure of renewable energy to be created so that less coal, nuclear and petroleum are necessary to meet our energy needs.

Mitt Romney's belief that alternative energy should be affordably competitive first, is opportunistically ridiculous. Petroleum was not affordably competitive at first. Petroleum only became affordable once there was a generated need for petroleum, such as assembly lines that created lower cost cars.  Even then, it was the creation of the federal reserve right around the same time as petroleum was being harnessed.

Those cars coming off the first assembly line were purchased with LOANS. According to Romney's philosophy, those cars should never have been created since it took the Federal Reserve butting in with "loans" to help create additional demand for petroleum that then allowed for investment in petroleum to be justified.

Hey, maybe Romney is an environmentalist after all!  Better still, if it takes government intervention to accelerate alternative energy growth, the payback in saved military actions will more than make up for the initial costs.

Richard Mourdock's Rape Quote, what Mr. Mourdock appears to have missed when he "struggled" with his rape pregnancy viewpoint.

"I struggled with it myself for a long time, but I came to realize, life is that gift from God, and I think even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape that it is something that God intended to happen". -Richard Mourdock

Here's the problem with that quote by Mr. Mourdock, it doesn't matter how much you intellectually struggle with an issue if the issue can never directly happen to you, past, present or future.

I would give Mr. Mourdock two conditional out clauses that would allow him to keep his opinion and be considered just an imbecile and not worse.

Out clause number one, If Mr. Mourdock personally stops five different rapists who are obviously about to assault a different woman, and will probably succeed because they are either bigger and stronger or perhaps because they have a knife. If Mr. Mourdock can stop those five rapists, then I would acknowledge that Mr. Mourdock has at least physically earned the right to have his schmucky opinion since he actually physically "struggled" in regard to rape and pregnancy.

The irony being that if Mr. Mourdock personally stops five rapes he might have stopped a potential pregnancy anyways, and the additional irony being that one of those five rapists probably aborts Mr. Mourdock first.

Or, out clause number two, Mr. Mourdock agrees to sign up as the first male baby transplant surrogate who will bring a baby borne out of rape to gestation inside his own body.

Please, somebody just ask Mr. Mourdock, would he be willing to ever carry a baby to term that resulted from rape if it became medically possibly.

Until then, Mr. Mourdock's mental "struggles" with physical rape and physical pregnancy are just mental masturbation.

Romney absolves Bill Clinton during the third 2012 debate for not getting Osama Bin Laden in the 90's, Obama stays consistent in message, too consistent according to this youtube video.

Did anyone catch Romney's comment about the 2000 debate "that neither presidential candidate brought up terrorism, yet a year later 911 happened".

Oh really. So all that daft talk by whack a noodle republicans about it being Bill Clinton's fault for not taking out Osama Bin Laden in the 90's "when he had the chance", was just more Clinton Derangement Syndrome at work.

Not to be outdone, Barack Obama has been tributed for his ability to remember his promises from four years ago and recite them virtually word for word.

May I add that during the final couple of weeks of 2008 campaigning, Obama would recite what appeared to be the exact same speech every day, and the one basic "change" was the number of days until the final primary vote, and I presume getting the city right that he was speaking in.

I guess I'm leaning Jill Stein at this point. Geeze, Romney went through his own energy policy goals and mentioned, nuclear, coal, petroleum, natural gas, but refused to mention either solar or wind, what an IDIOT.

The Endless Media mispersonifications of the Clintons, it just never ends, why do the Clintons tolerate it, the media are not worthy.

There was a hit piece on Bill Clinton during the 2008 democrat election campaign in which the headline to an article describing a peaceful appearance by Bill Clinton as he talked about alternative energy ended up as, " Bill Clinton holds back on Obama criticisms".

This next one, involving Hillary Clinton, is absolute insanity. By the way, I think the Atlantic is a cesspool of Obama salivators and has been since 2007.  How sad.

"People don't assume John Wayne shoots people and rides a horse on weekends," she told a Dutch interviewer. "People think I'm a nymphomaniac."

The Yahoo tribute to Sylvia Kristel revealed many things I did not know about her, my two favorite are that "in 2006 Kristel received a special jury prize at the Tribeca Film Festival for a short animated film she directed called "Topor et Moi", the title a reference to the French Illustrator and filmmaker Roland Topor".

And I love her John Wayne quote, also from the Yahoo tribute... "People don't assume John Wayne shoots people and rides a horse on weekends," she told a Dutch interviewer. "People think I'm a nymphomaniac."

What's so funny about that quote is, the odds are higher that John Wayne probably did shoot and ride horses on his weekends than Kristel's reputation being based on her movies.

I wonder if it would have messed up society if a women who is perfectly capable of being a fine actress, starts off doing porn, then ends up being an accomplished actress.

The "advice" her boyfriend gave her before she did her first porn film, "It will never pass the censors, don't worry about it", definitely not words to live by.

DailyKOS up in arms over BinderGate, I can't stop laughing.

DailyKOS is rabidly upset over Mitt Romney's alleged exaggeration about asking for qualified women he could hire, and then receiving a binder's worth full of applications.

The progressives are the ones who railroaded the BEST CANDIDATE in 2008, Hillary Clinton, then set their rabies drenched spittle on Sarah Palin in 2008 as well, then toasted Michelle Bachman in 2012.

So it's hard not to giggle because even if their outrage is somehow justified, their own checkered past needs vetting, cleansing, last rites administered, and then begging Hillary Clinton for forgiveness.

You don't get to jump ahead and now be demonically outraged at what a political opponent may be doing in a much smaller dose. If Hillary Clinton had ran and won in 2008, Mitt Romney WOULD NOT HAVE EVEN RUN this time, because he would have known it would have just been a big waste of his own and his friends money trying to topple Hillary Clinton's re-election effort.

So, click the link and have a good giggle, the angrier they post, the funnier it gets.

Dr. Laura Fans, Dr. Laura has a job opening!

Do you know someone who would like to be one of the coveted
“peeps” here at the Dr. Laura Program?   We have a rare
opening for a Digital Media Assistant/Call Screener,
and we’re accepting resumes.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in social media,

graphic arts, and audio/video editing with expertise in
Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator, and Final Cut Pro or Express.

Fluency in spoken and written English is required, as the
successful candidate will be trained to be a call screener
for the Dr. Laura Program as well.  And, of course, we want
someone who’s a big  fan of Dr. Laura and her program.

A more detailed job description, and how to apply can be

found here.  The position is based in Sherman Oaks in the
Los Angeles area.

If you’ve got the qualifications, make sure you apply now.
The Dr. Laura Program

Although anybody that well trained might just be an on air personality in the making themselves.I'm a bit curious, why not just train somebody who DOES NOT have those skills. I bet they could be trained in a month's time, no?

That's how jobs are created, no?  An out of work instructor is paid to teach an unskilled person new skills, who then is hired by the Dr. Laura show.  Why just go for the jugular and try get it all in one fell swoop?

Heck, why not offer a class to learn the skills needed to be a Dr. Laura call screener.  Now suddenly 20 people have new skills to put on their resume, and an instructor has a terrific reference as well.

Isn't that how jobs get created, or we must we always just go for the muffin top?

Is Romney including Senior Citizens in his 47% calculation?

Assuming that about 20% of the population are seniors, is Mitt Romney including seniors in his 47% entitlement calculation? I don't think it's fair to include seniors in that 47% as being entitlement benefactors.

That would mean that either 27% fit Romney's entitlement description if Romney was mistakenly including seniors, or, if Romney was not including seniors, it could also would mean that 67% of the country is receiving some type of payout from the government.

Either way, it was interesting that Romney called the 10% independent swing vote as the key to the election. In the past I have called it a 40-40-20 scenario.  40% always vote Republican, 40% always vote democrat, and 20% who are "swingable".

Romney is now reducing that swingable vote to 10%.  Perhaps this is true because of the rise in alleged minorities who soon will outnumber caucasians in the U.S.

It is interesting that the media did not say much about all of the ethnicities that spoke at the Republican convention.

An apology to Hillary, or is this a Concern Troll Trick?

An apology to Hillary.  I'm not buying it. This is just a trick to lure Hillary Clinton supporters. A writer from 2008 who supported Barack Obama magically now wishes Hillary Clinton were president, or would run in 2016.

Give me a break. NOBODY is that obtuse that it would take them four years to realize that Hillary Clinton was the obvious better choice.

Forum Post: No Justice When Women Fight Back | OccupyWallSt.org

Lots of frustrating links in this Occupy Wall Street Article. I found the one where several dozen striking miners were shot and killed by police resulting in a couple hundred of striking miners being tortured and now prosecuted especially egregious.

What an ironic circle of life. The article starts with african american women who are in jail because they fought back against their attackers, and ends with miners who are being abused beyond comprehension so...women can be wooed with diamonds from South Africa, yeesh.

New Blog from Alessandro Machi, Debt Neutrality.

If you want to really find out what is going on with the world's economy, just follow my debt neutrality blog. It appears that the entire world's economy is based on consumer debt levels, population growth, and resource depletion.

Interest rate charges are actually accelerating resource depletion.

Follow Debt Neutrality to see the ongoing and ever increasing damage the billionaires and trillionaires of the world are wreaking by insisting that their money always get the best return and that it always goes to the front of the line for reinvestment.
The uncomplicated bankster premise of "Debt Restructure requires a default" is the mantra that will kill off as much as 80% of the population within a hundred years time.
Society's demise is being set up now by the constant chattle to keep doing what we have been doing, without real change or progress. However the economic death spiral has already begun.

I believe we are at a tipping point for the world in which going forward as before will mean a very sudden demise, it will happen so fast no one will believe it. Read here if you want a bit more convincing.  Global warming might cause the release of stored carbon as frozen tundras melt, and as trees die as well.

That is why when I watched Paul Ryan say, "We can get GNP back up to 4%, We can do this", he looked and sounded like a child to me. GNP only has to grow to appease the rich elite who simply want their financial ponzi scheme to go on forever. We can have a sustainable economy WITH NO GROWTH, if the interest rate charges are thrown out of the equation.

Imagine you were the wealthiest person on the planet back in the 1500's. Where would your wealth be tied up? In land of course, but where else? In a militia to PROTECT your wealth. That protection could cost 50% of your wealth, assuming your military general didn't just chop your head off and take it all.

So the concept nowadays that the richest are supposed to keep getting richer and their money is somehow more valuable than all others, is not only ridiculous, it will destroy the industrialized world.

I think the best compromise that can be reached is the richest of the rich get the lowest automatic return on savings held in a bank, not the highest, and the rest of us with the smallest savings get the highest rate of return. This would free the elite to truly put their money into NEW technologies and possibly even more green friendly energy projects, or they can just have a good time and spend their money.
If you don't believe that the rich elite and their pampered money are destroying the industrialized world, you should really study the crap/fake/gambling casino style of investments that wall street trots out for the rich elite, knowing that if they fail, the government will bail them out, not us.

Republicans consider Audit the Fed as part of their platform, Obama removes Glass Stegall from the Democrat Platform. Obama is a banker posing as a populist.

We know that Romney is basically a banker. However, most Obama voters don't view Obama as a Banker President. Isn't it more dangerous to have a banker president who many people think is a populist, versus a president who we know is a banker?

The obvious answer is I'd rather have a president who we know is a banker rather than one who has managed to avoid the label of banker president. However, the republicans seem more ready to go to war at this point in time, and that makes it a tougher call once again.

Obama the banker president has really carved out a nice niche for himself.
  1. A meek and ultimately failed effort to get Elizabeth Warren the stewardship position of the Consumer Protection Financial Agency.
  2. Arrogantly Declares that Parallel Foreclosures, a violation of the constitution and the Federal Hobbs Act, extortion under the color of right, are legal.
  3. Prevents retirees and those close to retirement age access to their built up home equity if they don't qualify based on income, even if the equity from their home would allow them to either live out their lives comfortably and without endangering the bank's loan, or even as a financial bridge until they find work.
  4. Removal of Glass / Steagall advocacy from the 2012 democrat  platform
  5. Turning a blind eye towards offering any real incentives to help consumers pay down consumer debt.
  6. Investigation of Goldman Sachs turns up no wrong doing!

Repeat after me, Barack Obama is a Banker President, Barack Obama is a Banker President posing as a populist, and the closest he seems capable of helping Main Street is to cram down more debt to small businesses in the hopes they will magically pay off that debt while hiring more people who will in turn take on more debt to help the economy.

Wow.

Vanessa Bryant, living the dream of being a nightmare.

So here is Vanessa Bryant's quote, (Kobe Bryant is Vanessa Bryant's husband).
"I certainly would not want to be married to somebody that can’t win championships. If you’re sacrificing time away from my family and myself for the benefit of winning championships, then winning a championship should happen every single year."
Ah yes, once again it's time to trot out the infamous Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves magical saying..."If the pleasure remains, does it remain a pleasure?"  The somewhat obvious answer is, no.

I think every man on the planet should thank Kobe Bryant for keeping Vanessa Bryant, occupied and sparing the rest of us from having to interact with her. If only she were the only one who thought that way.

You can read the full New York Magazine article by clicking here. And Kobe, your wife was not even the lead interview of the article she appeared in, I suggest you dump her since she finished second.

Apparently, no intelligent people were harmed in the making of this running of the bulls video.

Or, should we call this, The Ramming of the Bulls?

As you watch the video, ask yourself these questions, Why is the rope so long, who controls the rope, and why do they do such a poor job of controlling the rope?

As much as I enjoyed rooting for the bulls, every now and then someone got it that did not deserve it. It makes one wonder, could I ever end up in a situation where I never really wanted to be in but went because friends were going, and suddenly there is this massive bull about to gore me.

Romney picks VP on the same day that 44,000 union workers come to Philly for a Protest Rally, gasp, talk about a bad "P.R." move.

I wonder about the timing of Romney's announcement of Paul Ryan for Vice President. I find it insensitive that Romney picked his running mate the same day that 44,000 union workers showed up in Philly for a national union rally.

I'm not happy that over the past few decades state unions have sold their vote to the politicians that gave them the best pension deals. However, I am still curious, did Romney know about the union rally in Philly?

If Romney didn't know about the Union Rally, then it solidifies the message that he is out touch with main street. If Romney did know about the rally and chose to hog television coverage by announcing his V.P. on the same day, then that would make Romney kind of a bad guy in my eyes.

Romney's timing of his VP pick completely blunted news coverage of that union rally, and that is just further evidence of what some americans are afraid of, Romney is not for the middle class.

President Obama: You're no Bill Clinton

Cal Thomas of the Chicago Tribune hits a home run with this piece. Here is just one morsel.

In 2008, candidate Obama praised Ronald Reagan above Bill Clinton when he told the Reno Gazette-Journal's editorial board that under Reagan the Republican Party was "the party of ideas" and that Reagan had "changed the trajectory of America in a way that Richard Nixon did not and in a way Bill Clinton did not."

Is Mitt Romney part of the 99% of Millionaires that pay within a certain range of taxes, or part of the 1% that pay virtually nothing?

Mitt Romney is right that once he releases his income tax results, no matter what he paid, the Obama camp will attempt to skewer him.

A discussion needs to take place between the media and other millionaires as to what percent they are paying on their income taxes, so that a standard can be in place PRIOR to Romney releasing additional income tax information.

I just want to know that Romney is within a range, a widenormal percentage range, of what 99% of millionaires pay. None of us knows what that widenormal percentage range is. Is it 5%, 8%, 12%, 15%?

I won't be too thrilled if Romney's percentage of income tax payment is not within the percentage range of what 99% of other millionaires pay every year. And Romney can add in the percent he pays in charitable deductions as well if he likes, as long as that is factored in for other millionaires.

Have I missed something?

PUMA PAC loses it, actually changes the words to my comment.

I wrote the following on PUMA PAC regarding PUMA PAC's article about the mass murder at a movie premiere of the Batman Movie.

...DailyPUMA 08.03.12 at 1:21 pm
Are you sure there was no other way to discuss the mass killing than simply saying that all men are scum? I would like to point out that your blog does not endear itself to male Hillary Clinton voters. So I have to ask, are you really Hillary Clinton supporters since her popularity dips among men who connect her to blogs like yours?

I then wrote something to the effect of....

Many men died in that theatre that night taking a bullet for their beloved, actually diving in front of the bullets to save the life of the person they loved. Why not write about them?

The comment above in bold underline was deleted without my consent or knowledge, presumably because it made them realize how much they hate men.

I DID NOT write what is below, someone with access to the comments edit function added it in.

Before I go, I’d like to sincerely apologize to the women of and on this blog, and other blogs created and attended primarily by women, for my harrassing behavior. I realized recently that I have a tendency to bash women on women’s blogs while I’ve given males and male bloggers enormous latitude. I’ve always felt impotent and controling and brow-beating women was one of the most effective ways for me to feel powerful and all-knowing, even if wasn’t the truth. Actually, many of the women in my life turned away from me for this very reason. This, of course (and obviously) angered me. I felt I was an unwitting victim. As a result, I tend to lash out at, criticize, lie about, disresepct, and generally degrade women.

Once again, I am truly sorry. You will not be hearing from again.
Best to all of you.

What kind of "journalist" changes someone else's words? In my opinion, not one who is mentally well. "PUMAPAC, hating men since they started blogging", and taking Hillary Clinton down with them. Even the "you will not be hearing from me again" they falsely attribute to me simply means they banned me from responding.

The irony is on another blog called "Stupid PUMAS", I posted comments several times calling the moderator out for defaming Murphy while not using their own real name, but the moderator never posted my comments.

Why is the state of Illinois the home of some the ugliest news stories? Man charged with filming police, could have served up to 75 years!

I suppose the good thing that has come out of this story is the charges of video eavesdropping were apparently dropped and the judge issued a solid, logical, and reasonable ruling.
According to the youtube site hosting the video above...The charges were dropped in this case:Sep. 20, 2011
"...a state judge declared the charges unconstitutional. "A statute intended to prevent unwarranted intrusions into a citizen’s privacy cannot be used as a shield for public officials who cannot assert a comparable right of privacy in their public duties," wrote Circuit Court Judge David Frankland. "Such action impedes the free flow of information concerning public officials and violates the First Amendment right to gather such information.""
SputnikFive 20 hours ago 25
On a personal note, I have been reluctant to film police because it means I am pointing something at an officer who could believe it to be a weapon and respond accordingly. In this instance, the man was documenting police conduct before, during and after they "confiscated" cars he was refurbishing because the cars were not registered.

The state could argue that all cars should be registered so that they can be tracked regardless of their status, otherwise they could more easily be used as car bombs.

However, isn't there a non-op status in which a person does not have to pay registration fees if the car is not being driven on the road? Or is non-op status not allowed in Illinois as well?

Either way, I wonder what it cost him to defend himself against these tyrannical charges?

The Barack Obama Denial, OBAMA DID BUILD THAT!

President Obama is actually scaring me now. Obama's complete denial that he said anything wrong over his "You didn't build that" meme has become an escalation of deniability over what originally was just poor speech delivery.

Hat tip to Common Cents for posting the "More Context" commercial below.

Obama could have had fun with his "You didn't build that" misfire on the Jay Leno show. Jay makes fun of Obama, shows a video of Elizabeth Warren saying a similar message, only better. Jay continues to tease Obama over stealing someone else's homework but then getting the answers wrong anyway. Obama looks embarrassed, and people like him just a bit more.

Being able to joke about a mistake, and gain approval points, is actually a good move politically. Hillary Clinton appeared on the Jay Leno show after her airport sniper comment in 2008.

The Sniper comment actually gave Obama that final push towards the finish line as Hillary Clinton's popularity was growing before the comment, dipped for a few days after that comment, and then grew again until the very day she suspended her sentence. Without the sniper snafu, Clintons approval never dips and probably ends up 2 to 5 points higher, high enough to cause a serious case for her nomination.

In this instance, Obama keeps pushing the fantasy that he did not screw up at all, that those wascally wepubwicans are "changing" his words. It's approaching the demonic denial stage with Obama's "I didn't say that" commercial.
Shoulda done Leno, Obama.

Obama's right: AK-47s belong in the hands of soldiers, but not ours | jacksonville.com

Not only did Obama make a mistake about what assault weapons american soldiers use in battle...

But Obama basically called the streets of Iraq and the streets and villages in Afghanistan, "battlefields" while also saying that our own streets in America naturally have a higher standard that precludes assault weapons.

As outrageous as that unsaid but implied premise by Barack Obama is towards the cities and villages of Iraq and Afghanistan that have been caught in the crossfire between american soldiers and Al Queda, will Iraq be "safer" without the american military there?

I'm assuming yes because a lot of Iraq people died during the Iraq invasion by the U.S. Army, but then I wonder if without a true leader both countries will end up in small mini wars.

If President Obama could elaborate on what constitutes a "battlefield", I would appreciate it.

Why Every Social Media Manager Should Be Under 25 - NextGen Journal - NextGen Journal

Some people remained skeptical when I said that Hillary Clinton, besides being sabotaged in 2008 by several prominent women near her own age, was also done in by younger women who felt too grown up to want a mommy for president and instead voted for Barack Obama.

Unless this article is a joke here's your proof that women may never connect amongst themselves and why militant feminism will probably kill Hillary Clinton's chances to become president. Militant feminists foolishly believe they are at the forefront among Hillary Clinton's supporters. Unfortunately Militant femininsts probably believe that men are just not worth wooing on any level.

The reality is that a combination of men voters and friendly feminists is the only way Hillary Clinton can ever attain the white house. However, the militant, men hating feminists will scare off way more men voters who would otherwise vote for Hillary Clinton then they can attract from their own sex.

Below is a link to that helps prove that Ageism, not sexism, did Hillary Clinton in in 2008 (not to mention a ton of unethical manipulation by democrat higher ups).

Will Barack Obama release his "Mom Returns"? How many times did Barack Obama Visit his mother after she told Obama she had Terminal Cancer?

I care more about Barack Obama releasing his "Mom Returns" than I do about Mitt Romney releasing additional income tax returns.

How many times did Barack Obama visit his terminally stricken mother after she told Obama she had cancer? Is a tax return suddenly more important than how a son treats his terminally ill mother? (However, I do acknowledge that both are important.)

Obama referred to the plight of his mother after she had cancer several times during the 2008 democrat and presidential race. Obama in fact, used his mother's dying pain for his own political gain.

Can we have Obama's "Mom Returns" vetted, please?
