One of My Favorite DailyPUMA ARTICLES of 2009 Reprinted Below.

Remember the woman who called 911 because McDonalds STOLE her money and WOULD NOT give it back?

McDonalds had run out of Chicken McNuggets and their solution was to give her a substitute meal of equal or greater value, but under no circumstances was Latreasa Davis or any other customer ever to get a refund. DailyPUMA wrote about it last month... (Latreasa Davis is a Hero, not a Zero.)
Latreasa Davis had the guts to demand her actual money back from a McDonalds that was planning on giving her a substitute meal she did not want. Davis was ridiculed by the media for calling 911 when in reality she was a heroic consumer advocate who wouldn't sit at the back of the bus after McDonald's refused to refund her money for a meal they could not produce. Davis's reward was to be charged with a crime for calling 911 while the media laughed at her.

It was not newsworthy for the media to report McDonalds stealing customers money and then giving the customer whatever McDonald's wanted to give, but it was newsworthy to taunt and ridicule Latreasa Davis for standing up and saying, "enough is enough".

This weeks female media victim is Nicole Word.
Nicole Word, the Poster Woman for Repeat Domestic Abuse who so far had survived numerous alleged stalking attacks by her ex boyfriend, has now been dropped from her own story so the media could glorify the judge "who saved her". Not only did Nicole Word have to survive repeated alleged threats against her life from her estranged "boyfriend", but just as she was testifying against him, IN COURT, he attacked her AGAIN! Click Above to see the RARE news story version in which Nicole Word is actually featured in the story along with the heroic judge. Or click here to see the article and the video. Sadly, the only reason this story even made the headlines was because of the video inside the courtroom.

There would have never even been a story about the repeated domestic abuse attempts if the abuser hadn't then done it in court! So you would think that Nicole Word would be featured front and center. Nope. Instead, the story makes news across the county because of the "heroic" actions of the Broward County Judge, Ian Richards.

My question is, who is the real hero in this situation? Is Judge Ian Richards the hero for stopping an assault in his own courtroom, or is it Nicole Word, who fended off several alleged death threats and had to face her tormetor in court and then survive a beating by him in court? According to the media, the judge is the hero, and Nicole is just a footnote. I base this conclusion on the following. I did several google searches. It was not until I put Nicole Word's actual name in that was I able to find a video that showed her being interviewed.

In all other cases, the videos were all about The judges heroics in jumping over his own bench to save the female in distress from an attacker. GASP. KCAL in Los Angeles ran the original video seen above, but has not archived this story in their own internet video library so after it ran on the air, it basically disappeared forever.

To glorify the judge without knowing about or hearing from the victim is just wrong. If you didn't already know the name of the female victim, odds are you wouldn't find the very scant coverage that included her own words about what happened. The media has gotten adept at being wrong when it comes to how they view Women who are champions.

Ridiculing Latreasa Davis, Ignoring Nicole Word, Oblivious to unfair voting schemes that went against Hillary Clinton, or wrongfully championing Caroline Kennedy for a legislative position without her ever having even won a popular vote in her adult life, are all signs that our media is not able to repeat an original story without dumbing it down, especially when it involves courageous women in the news.

Merry Christmas from the "Bro", starring in "How the Bro Stole the Country".

You can see the entire story at CannonFire, CLICK HERE to go to CANNONFIRE.
Pick a title any title. "How the Bro Stole Christmas", "It isn't easy being green", "The Bro Who Know Christmas", "How the Grinch Sold Christmas".

I Witnessed a Christmas Miracle Apparition at my Local Trader Joes!

I witnessed a Trader Joe's Christmas Miracle Apparition and I even took a picture of it!

There I was, standing in line while the cashier was ringing up the customer before me. All of a sudden, the cashier bobbled a big plastic bottle of Lemonade/Mango (or was it Mango Lemonade?) and it fell to the ground causing the plastic cap to explode.

Fluid gushed onto the floor. In almost no time flat, an apparition of Santa in a Sleigh appeared with in the fluid! And I took a Picture! I have that picture. Unfortunately because I use Apple's Snow Leopard platform and a canon powershot camera I cannot upload said image via the canon software.

It has now been OVER 3 MONTHS that I personally have not been able to upload new photos because Apple and Canon just don't think they've broken any rules by selling products that don't work with each other's system, even though on the back of the Canons newest packaging it clearly states their camera powershot works with Apple.

The canon camera may work with Apple's software, but I was using my canon camera with the canon software. Imagine that, using the software that comes with the camera, what was I thinking!

So, eventually, when Canon and Apple feel it is important enough and presumably fix their products so they work with each other, I will be able to upload the Christmas Miracle Apparition taken at my local Trader Joes store of Santa's Sleigh.

Click above to read how Bank of America almost took a fine, upstanding company and put them out of business by summarily dropping their credit line from 100,000 to 10,000 dollars overnight! This afflicted company has two quarters a year where it does really well, and two quarters where they are slow.

Of course Bank of America cut them during their slow time and almost put them out of business, but they did manage to survive the sneak attack by B of A.

Tiger Woods Elin Nordegren, is the news coverage losing sight of possible Domestic Violence by Elin?

Is Elin Nordegren calling too many of the shots in the face of Tiger Wood's lie? (Ok, I admit it, there is a pun or two in that sentence, what can I say?)

I feel like I am watching a magicians trick unfold in front of my eyes. Elin Nordegren is doing this, she's doing that, she's going here, she's going there, and yet, apparently, she nor Tiger have admitted to the possibility of domestic violence the night Tiger's Car Hooked up with a tree and Tiger appeared to have facial injuries inconsistent with the car accident.

Why is Elin allowed to leave the United States without being questioned as to what happened? How can she expect to have her day in divorce court if she never is properly questioned about happened between her and Tiger? Was Elin not considered a suspect? The longer the police wait to question her, the more her story might possibly be a concoction of what she thinks happened instead of what may have actually happened.

Latreasa Davis was arrested for "misusing" 911 even though what McDonalds did by holding her money was the equivalent of a theft in progress. Yet Elin, who may have committed domestic violence, is free to flit about flaunting her upscale status every step of the way.
If one's choice was to cooperate with the police and possibly receive a charge of domestic abuse, or, divorce Tiger Woods and receive a huge chunk of money, your kids, worldwide public sympathy, plus no domestic violence charge, which would you choose?
Just who is Elin protecting her kids from? She certainly is not protecting them from a possibly enraged, club wielding elitist deranged person who may have attacked an unarmed man. Why is Elin able to avoid answering questions from the police about what happened the night Tiger Woods was found woozy and bleeding from the face?

Just as importantly, is Tiger Woods doing right by his kids by leaving them with a woman who might have picked up a golf club and struck or threatened to strike him with it?

It is not like Elin put Tiger Woods through college to become a doctor and then Doctor Woods divorces her for a younger woman. There are many women who have not been accused of possible assault against their spouse even after having been used in a far worse way than Elin has allegedly been "used" by Tiger Woods.

Elin cannot and should not be allowed to hide under all that money when everyday people would have been questioned by the police.
Elin leads a privileged life and if she should could not control her anger over personal events involving her husband, how can the rest of us be expected to hold our anger when we don't have a billion dollars in the bank as a back up plan? Elin deserves LESS sympathy, not more, than a woman who suddenly gets dumped after helping pay for her husband's education or business career.
There is another issue here to consider, the point / counter point issue. If Tiger Woods was having unprotected sex with others and then swapping kisses with Elin, can that be considered some form of assault? Spitting is considered Assault. If a person spits at another person and the spit makes contact, the spitter can be charged with assault.

Can swapping fluids with one's wife after not even using a condom with a stranger be considered a form of assault by Tiger Woods on Elin? Should Elin ever need to defend herself against domestic abuse charges, could reacting to "being spit upon" be Elin's defense plea as to why she may have lost her self control and possibly assaulted Tiger Woods?

After being assaulted by another person, the recipient may choose to hit the assailant back as a form of defense. Is it a legal defense for Elin to see Tiger and his unprotected sex with others as a form of spitting/assault that led Elin, upon discovering what was going on, to respond to Tiger's prior actions in self defense?

Why are the police allowing Elin to flee the United States without answering to questions about possible domestic violence, and what kind of example is this setting to men and women who are not rich like Tiger and Elin?

How to Avoid the Race Card Game by Really Trying.

When discussions about political candidates bog down because of accusations of racism, the vetting of candidates becomes an almost impossible task. I believe there are ways to reduce accusations of racism when the charges of racism relate to the vetting of any political candidate.

If we limit our judgement about a politician's racial associations to people with the same ethnicity as ourselves, we limit the use of the race card.

In the case of Barack Obama and the 2008 democratic nomination race, and then the presidential race, when caucasians started criticizing Barack Obama for his non caucasian associations, they defused their own complaints about Barack Obama by giving Barack Obama supporters an excuse to use the race card.

African Americans can criticize Barack Obama and his associations with other African Americans if they believe the associations are unacceptable. It does not matter if a caucasian does not like Louis Farrakhan, what matters is if an association with Louis Farrakhan bothers african americans.

A caucasian can criticize Barack Obama for hanging out with caucasians that are of questionable character, such as Jamie Dimon of Chase bank.

When Jessie Jackson made his infamous comment about Barrack Obama and his alleged condescending speaking style towards african americans, the private comment at a public event was "caught" by a live microphone. If Jessie Jackson had been a different ethnicity then Barack Obama, there could have been accusations of racism over those remarks.

However, because an african american, (Jessie Jackson) was talking about another african american (Barack Obama), racism was never charged and the issue died down relatively quickly.

When the Clintons were charged with being racists in early 2008, what they could have done differently to deflect these ridiculous charges was to rely on their own african american supporters to defend both of them, and to also educate the Clintons on the racism nuanced line that they may have been unknowingly crossing.

The moment the Clintons spoke about historical african american politicians and how those politicians experiences related to Barack Obama, the Clintons opened themselves up to the possibility of the race card being used even if the assertions were ridiculous.

James E. Clyburn, a South Carolina congress person, rather than defend Bill Clinton against charges of racism, told Bill to shut up. Clyburn's "shut up" comment revealed himself to be a closet Barack Obama supporter.

Commenting about political relationships outside of one's own race is one sure fire way to bring race card game into a political battle and should be avoided.

Ashley Dupree gets her own Add Vice Column with the New York Post.

I don't have a problem with Ashley Dupree getting a chance to have a somewhat legitimate job, but I do have a problem with her jumping over thousands of other women who probably could do as good as or an even better job as Ashley Dupree, but won't get that chance because they got a real college education rather than practice the art of business bimbohood 101.

Why not line up Ashley Dupree with either one more equally capable woman who did not break the law, or, have a guest writer for each of her columns and then let both Ashley and her guest answer the same questions, each not seeing the other's response until it appears in the paper.

A Powerful Excerpt From Barack Obama's Nobel Peace Prize Speech and the subtle political rebukes that appear to be intertwined.

A very strong rebuke of Ron Paul's world political view can be found in the excerpt below from Barack Obama's Nobel Peace Prize Speech. A more subtle rebuke of George Bush, John McCain and Hillary Clinton's position that we don't negotiate with rogue nations can be found as well.

However, earlier in the speech, Barack Obama also acknowledges that speech making is never enough (which kind of reminds me of the Hillary Clinton's 2008 campaign quote about Barack Obama's political experience amounting to a speech he wrote...)

------------------excerpt from Barack Obama's Nobel Peace Prize Speech--------------------

...."The same principle applies to those who violate international laws by brutalizing their own people. When there is genocide in Darfur, systematic rape in Congo, repression in Burma -- there must be consequences. Yes, there will be engagement; yes, there will be diplomacy -- but there must be consequences when those things fail. And the closer we stand together, the less likely we will be faced with the choice between armed intervention and complicity in oppression.

This brings me to a second point -- the nature of the peace that we seek. For peace is not merely the absence of visible conflict. Only a just peace based on the inherent rights and dignity of every individual can truly be lasting.

It was this insight that drove drafters of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights after the Second World War. In the wake of devastation, they recognized that if human rights are not protected, peace is a hollow promise.

And yet too often, these words are ignored.

For some countries, the failure to uphold human rights is excused by the false suggestion that these are somehow Western principles, foreign to local cultures or stages of a nation's development. And within America, there has long been a tension between those who describe themselves as realists or idealists -- a tension that suggests a stark choice between the narrow pursuit of interests or an endless campaign to impose our values around the world.

So even as we respect the unique culture and traditions of different countries, America will always be a voice for those aspirations that are universal. We will bear witness to the quiet dignity of reformers like Aung Sang Suu Kyi; to the bravery of Zimbabweans who cast their ballots in the face of beatings; to the hundreds of thousands who have marched silently through the streets of Iran. It is telling that the leaders of these governments fear the aspirations of their own people more than the power of any other nation. And it is the responsibility of all free people and free nations to make clear that these movements -- these movements of hope and history -- they have us on their side.I reject these choices. I believe that peace is unstable where citizens are denied the right to speak freely or worship as they please; choose their own leaders or assemble without fear. Pent-up grievances fester, and the suppression of tribal and religious identity can lead to violence. We also know that the opposite is true. Only when Europe became free did it finally find peace. America has never fought a war against a democracy, and our closest friends are governments that protect the rights of their citizens. No matter how callously defined, neither America's interests -- nor the world's -- are served by the denial of human aspirations.

Let me also say this: The promotion of human rights cannot be about exhortation alone. At times, it must be coupled with painstaking diplomacy. I know that engagement with repressive regimes lacks the satisfying purity of indignation. But I also know that sanctions without outreach -- condemnation without discussion -- can carry forward only a crippling status quo. No repressive regime can move down a new path unless it has the choice of an open door...."

Native American Lawsuit Settlement was probably well deserved, but it does raise some interesting questions in regards to the 2008 democratic race.

I actually took some time to study the Democratic Montana Primary vote last year. There were a couple of tribal voting precincts that were remarkably in favor of Barack Obama, the percentages were like 80 and 90% for Barack Obama in a couple of the larger native american voting blocks.

A tribal lawsuit against the government was just settled and a 3 billion dollars has been successfully litigated by attorney's representing Eloise Cobell from the Blackfeet tribe of Montana.

The federal lawsuit was first filed in 1996 so Ms. Cobell did persevere for over 12 years. Was this one of those quid pro quo situations? Ms. Cobell's tribe helps Barack Obama win in the Montana primary, and then this lawsuit gets settled? And if so, would that be considered controversial, or just good politicking by Barack Obama?

I recall the Montana primary was the same day as South Dakota and that Hillary Clinton easily won in South Dakota. If Barack Obama had not won Montana, it would have looked really bad for him as Hillary Clinton was already winning at a 54% rate over the final 10 weeks of the contest. I also recall that in general the race was close, except for a couple of Indian Reservations that were HEAVILY in favor of Barack Obama.

As Ms. Cobell aptly pointed out, everyday Native Americans are dying without ever seeing any payout for the apparently shoddy book keeping over the past 100 hundred years by the United States government. Apparently Native American trust fund money never reached was paid out to Indians and getting some of that money immediately was more important than an apology, and a still longer wait for a financial settlement.

I wonder why Bill Clinton and George Bush let this Native American lawsuit fester for so long when most people would probably agree that the lawsuit probably had some merit to it. I wonder why Bill Clinton's people didn't give Hillary Clinton a heads up about such an important lawsuit so she would have a reason to either campaign in Montana or at least send a letter of support for the lawsuit.

Imagine if Hillary Clinton had won both Montana and South Dakota so late in the primary, that might have really put a very public question mark on who should have been the democratic nominee.

Hillary Clinton was supposed to quit the 2008 democratic race, but Sarah Palin is called a quitter, Disingenuous games the Obama supporters play.

Hillary Clinton, according to Keith Olbermann and many many Barack Obama supporters, was supposed to quit the 2008 democratic race well before the end even though the race was too close to call.

Apparently, it was ok for delegates to switch from Hillary Clinton to Barack Obama, but under no circumstances were delegates ever supposed to switch back, even when Hillary Clinton won over 54% of the vote over the final 10 weeks of the democratic race.

Barack Obamomentum knew only one direction, and to imply delegates, even those who were actually in districts that voted for Hillary Clinton, might decide to actually vote for Hillary Clinton, was tantamount to racism.

Sarah Palin was coming under increased surveillance, attack, and scrutiny by the media. When she saw that she was not going to be able to lose the media by jumping on her snowmobile and getting the media to go left when they should have gone right, Palin resigned.

Palin is now called a quitter by some Barack Obama supporters for her refusing to be skewered by the media while trying to govern Alaska.

In both situations, the Barack Obama crowd used the quit card to once again demean and diminish female candidates. Isn't it ironic that Hillary Clinton was supposed to quit the 2008 democratic race, yet Sarah Palin was not supposed to quit her governorship even though the media was making it difficult for her to just do her job?

Whatever either female candidate chose to do at critical moments in their career, it appears Barack Obama supporters were simply going to demand both candidates do the opposite of what they did, or be skewered in the media.

The Living Christmas Tree Company, an example of superior green job creation that actually makes sense.

You order a Living Christmas Tree online and the Living Tree is delivered to your home, alive and with a potted based. After Christmas, the still living tree is picked up from your home and returned to where it is kept the other 11 months of the year for reuse the following Christmas season.

The superiority of this concept can be documented in several ways. Even though the living tree service costs more than buying a newly cut tree, the customer AVOIDS the trip to go get the tree. While getting the tree may be half the fun, the drive to and from and attaching the tree to your car may not be so much fun. Plus, WATERING a still living tree during the 3 weeks you have the tree is probably more fun.

The living trees are less prone to starting on fire because they are still alive. The living trees look healthier, because they are alive, not dead. The living trees will not leave a pile of needles all over the place, once again, because the tree is alive and not dead.

On top of that, the whole economic business structure, because it is based on keeping the tree alive, creates a green trail of honest work. Rather than continually growing, cutting, shipping, selling, dying, needles dropping from the Dead Christmas Tree that is then dumped on the curb to be picked up as trash, a Living Tree is simply ordered online, dropped off at your home, then picked up when done.

The company employee then returns the tree to where it is tended to until next Holiday season. The additional employee involvement of having to pick up the tree and then take care of it during the year creates an economically repeating job cycle every year without having to constantly grow more and trees that are prematurely killed.

Eventually, when the living tree gets too big, it can be turned into any number of things rather than simply being put out with the Christmas trash rush. "Retired living trees" don't have to be dealt with during a very short window of time right after Christmas. Rather, the company has the entire off season to devote to how to best reuse a tree that has eventually outgrown its Christmas season usefulness.
The entire living tree process appears to have a higher ratio of wages paid per price charged while not wasting or overusing precious resources. Recycling by reusing is the ideal green solution but one that only certain green economies can utilize. Plastic bottles can't be reused as is when removed from the original user, but a living christmas tree can.
Even though the Living Tree Service appears to be more expensive, it may not actually be more expensive. What price can be put upon the fire hazard a drying dying Christmas Tree creates? Let us not forget the mess of the needles during the entire time the dying tree is up, and then the additional needles that are dropped as the dead Christmas tree is hauled to the curb for pick up, including the ones left on your clothes and your hair.

Is it possibly less healthy being around a dead and drying tree for several weeks compared to an actual living tree? Lets not forget the initial expense, the time and resources needed to go pick up the dead tree and put into or onto your ironically too small green car.

Because the living trees are delivered and picked up in bulk, the lower usage of fuel to deliver and pick up the living trees is easily superior to any other method currently being used for dead trees.

For anyone who likes to have a real tree for Christmas, the idea of using a living tree seems to make so much more sense than a dead tree. I would much rather place a present under a living tree than one purposely killed just for one Christmas.

GOOGLE LINK HACKERS, are they attacking certain blogs to drive down traffic?

I noticed a bunch of hits from the same IP, each one just seconds apart. I checked the IP to see if it might be some kind of spam bot
and discovered a shocking blog article that mentions the exact same IP that "visited" my blog.

If you click on the link above it will take you to that article. The article claims a drop in the number of hits after a visit by the IP number listed above. The IP number lists a location of Reston, Virginia.

How much longer until somebody with too much power and influence simply sets up fake articles to check everybody that is on to them.

Real Cancer Research Breakthrough Finally Here?

A lot of cancer research breakthroughs periodically get press releases. I wonder if this one is any different. The basic cancer fighting concept with this treatment is that the cancer cells receptors are told to commit suicide, and they do. The cancer fighting clinical trial treatment goes by the name SHetA2.

I guess I don't understand why the normal cells nearby also don't hear that same suicide command, but that is probably explained somewhere on the internet. It looks like clinical trials are gearing up for this "breakthrough". If this turns out to be a dud, it just goes to show you how that investor's money not only goes towards cancer research, but towards publicity releases as well.

If the clinical trials prove successful, then this could actually be the real progress that we have all been waiting for in regards to cancer research.

To All the Enlightened ones who Voted for Barack Obama over Hillary Clinton because of Hillary Clinton's war voting record...

To All the Enlightened ones who Voted for Barack Obama over Hillary Clinton because of Hillary Clinton's war voting record...

When a handful of congress people from both houses of congress chortle that they will vote against Barack Obama's plan for more troops in Afghanistan, KNOWING THAT THEIR VOTE WILL NOT AFFECT THE EXTRA TROOP VOTE OUTCOME, will you be impressed with their no more troops vote this time around the way you were when Barack Obama voted no to the war several years ago?

When politicians who voted against additional troops in Afghanistan then campaign for re-election by bragging about how they voted against funding for additional troops in Afghanistan, will you be impressed the way you were with Barack Obama's no war vote several years ago?

When Barack Obama voted against the Afghanistan war, or was it the Iraq war, or was it both wars that Barack Obama voted against the first time around, (or did he just vote present); explain to me again how those no votes were much, much more of a brave no vote then, then the politicians who will vote no this time around.

Voting NO to stop or end a war or to increase troop size, when that no vote will not change the outcome of the overall vote, can then be manipulated for political gain when it comes time to campaign for re-election.

Al Gore's vote in favor of Desert Storm back in the early 90's was a KEY yes vote the republicans desperately needed for that early 90's war to happen, yet Michael Moore thinks Al Gore is great, and Hillary Clinton not so great, even though Hillary Clinton's war vote was not a difference maker and Al Gore's desert storm vote was a difference maker.
