John McCain wanted to suspend his 2008 campaign to focus on the bank bailout bill, Barack Obama and MSNBC accused McCain of being afraid to Debate!

I still find this one of the daffiest moments from the 2008 presidential election. There is a huge bankster bailout bill proposal and John McCain is like, time out, we have to focus on this. This is more important than the presidential debate.

Barack Obama and MSNBC's response is to ridicule John McCain incessantly as they accuse McCain of not being able to both prepare for a debate and be involved in the bankster bailout bill at the same time.

I guess Barack Obama had already prepared new speeches to deliver during that debate and something as trivial as a bankster bailout bill was not going to get in the way. Keith Olbermann really layed into McCain over this issue as well.

What was it Hillary Clinton said about Barack Obama having a speech from 2004....?

Barack Obama was in favor of not maximizing the focus on the bankster bailout bill because he had a debate to attend. Does anybody see the irony in that?

Its time for OBOT Friday. Meet the Hillary Clinton Polka Geek Dude syndicated columnist.

If you choose to watch this video, notice how the "audience" never moves, applauds, or does anything affirmative. Even the girl whom he grabs and then dances with never has her face visible to the camera. Could this guy actually be holding these people hostage and using them in his youtube videos? I thought I detected a sigh of relief from the girl when the "dancing perp" lets her sit back down.

Remember the Twilight Zone episode where the kid had all the power and the adults were catering to his every whim and faking being interested? Except in this instance the kid is the adult and the audience his caged prey.

Ironically, this Hillary Polka video points out a very sinister aspect that Hillary Clinton had to deal with from the media before she declared her candidacy. I believe that Hillary Clinton did not want to enter the race first and as the leader for fear of being overexposed too early in the presidential race. (I think this video came out in 2007 and the guy is already not wanting to see anymore of Hillary). It was the media, led by Keith Olbermann and MSNBC, that constantly harped on her to announce her candidacy as early as possible.

How many times in past elections has the initial "leading" democratic candidate actually become the nominee? I seem to recall that democrats who are trailing and then gain momentum as the race develops have more success than those that are just presented as the initial, inevitable nominee. So the media knew what it was doing by trying to overexpose Hillary Clinton early on, and this "gentleman" with the faceless guests seems to confirm the media conspiracy of early overexposure being used against Hillary Clinton, quite effectively.

MSNBC who? Bill O'Reilly cites news fairness poll and MSNBC is nowhere to be found.

CLICK ON IMAGE TO ENLARGE, IF YOU DARE.
"If you listen closely, you can hear SpongeBob and Hannah Montana weeping...." - Bill O'Reilly
That is about as close to mentioning MSNBC as Bill O'Reilly came when citing a poll showing Fox News far and away the fairest news source during the 2008 presidential campaign. Click here to view the results. MSNBC didn't even make the top five news stations, I presume the numbers were so low for MSNBC that O'Reilly just let it be.

Back in 2008, I was watching Keith Blabberon go after O'Reilly on an almost nightly basis. The odd thing was watching Keith Olbermann regularly going apopletic over something Bill O'Reilly said or did, yet when I would switch over to O'Reilly, Bill would be calmly conducting an interview with a guest.

Can MSNBC continue to cover Barack Obama Speeches day after day?

Barack Obama was speaking recently and MSNBC was providing a live feed and I noticed a few "cheerers" in the back of the room that seemed to be obvious plants. How long can MSNBC and Barack Obama continue to sponge off of each other?

Did MSNBC show George Bush live, everyday and everywhere he went? Is it plausible that Barack Obama will continue to make live, daily televised appearances to the merriment of MSNBC? I guess I just can't believe it can keep up for his entire term in office without a backlash occurring.

Keith Olbermann and Richard Wolfe Absolve Hillary Clinton For her Iraq War Vote without even realizing it, Amazing.

Keith Olbermann of MSNBC and Richard Wolfe of Newsweek engaged in an incredible exchange during Keitho's Friday night show. (Feb. 06, 2009) The hidden message behind their discourse was so profoundly counter to the harrassment that they lathered on Hillary Clinton during the democratic primary race least year, right around the first of February of 2008.

Here is the excerpt that DailyPUMA has transcribed from last nights show. After you read it the first time, I'll explain how to decode the hidden message lurking within.

Keith Olbermann

Time to call in our own political analyst, Richard Wolfe. Good Evening Richard.

Richard Wolfe

Good Evening Keith.

Keith Olbermann

All right. Obviously the the moderates, the democratic moderates made this deal, Sherrie Brown was quoted about uh, about this before and several others, wha what about the other democrats, are they going to go along with this.

Richard Wolfe

Yeah, I think they are. Uh, look. Everyone's feeling the same pressure here and the pressure comes not uh, not slightly here from the economic numbers, which we just saw today those terrible unemployment numbers. Nobody wants to go out and face their own members in their districts or in their states and said-say that they didn't do something when the president was saying, saying it had to be done, so....

Yeah people are gonna get on board. Their gonna be unhappy, yes its rushed, no, not every piece of spending is gonna be inthere, but, in the end, the economic pressure, the political pressure from this president is just gonna be too great, and that was always the case with this bill. This was all symbolic from the beginning, but now is coming to a head.  - END OF QUOTE

----------------------------------

Mr. Wolfe is basically saying that the democratic senators really have no choice regarding the stimulus package vote, "whether they like it or not, it's gonna happen". Now, think back to the possibly paid off protestors during last years democratic presidential campaign that would follow Hillary Clinton around and scream at her for voting yes for the war in Iraq.

I'm going to take Richard Wolfe's own words, and by REPLACING JUST A HANDFUL OF THEM, the comment sounds exactly like justification for supporting George Bush going to war in Iraq.

----------------------------------

Keith Olbermann

All right. Obviously the the moderates, the democratic moderates made this deal, Sherrie Brown was quoted about uh, about this before and several others, wha what about the other democrats, are they going to go along with this.

Richard Wolfe's comments, when applied to the vote on the Iraq War.

Yeah, I think they are. Uh, look. Everyone's feeling the same pressure here and the pressure comes not uh, not slightly here from the ongoing terrorism threat, which we just saw those terrible numbers, 3000 dead. Nobody wants to go out and face their own members in their districts or in their states and said-say that they didn't do something when the president was saying, saying it had to be done, so....

Yeah people are gonna get on board. Their gonna be nervous, yes its rushed, no, not every piece of the war plan is in there, but, in the end, the pressure to stop terrorism before it comes to the U.S. again, the political pressure from president Bush is just gonna be too great, and that was always the case with the Iraq war vote. This was all symbolic from the beginning, but now is coming to a head.

-------------------------------------------end of slightly altered quote.

I barely changed the passage, yet word for word it could have been used by Wolfe to describe why the Iraq war vote was going to pass.

One could try and argue that, well, Wolfe is talking about the party that is in power, that they are the ones in lock step with their own president. However, that argument falls apart because George Bush was saying, back me, we are in danger of another act like the World Trade center collapse if we don't fight the war outside of the United States. Factor in the argument that the troops in Afghanistan could be outflanked if Iraq was ignored, and the democrats were basically there to support the president.

Blaming Hillary Clinton for George Bush's war was lame. Has a senator ever stopped a war? But suddenly the first woman candidate can only run and be accepted if she had stopped George Bush's war? What kind of a load is that?

Olbermann and Wolfe chastized Hillary Clinton for voting yes on the war in Iraq during the early stages of the 2008 democratic campaign race and used it as a reason why she could not be president of the United States.

This was just another in a series of planned out anti Hillary smokescreens to discredit her campaign. As more and more of these plots come to light, it sure looks like a planned conspiracy from within the democratic party and the media to elevate Barack Obama over Hillary Clinton.

Will we ever find out if any of those anti Hillary protestors who claimed she could not be president because of her yes vote on the war on Iraq, were paid off? Olbermann and Wolfe sure appear to have been.

Is MSNBC coaching its anchors to all have the same talking points, is that ethical?

There is a certain cohesiveness to MSNBC that I find eerie. It seems as if all the on air hosts promote the same talking points all day long. It is as if they all attend a special meeting at the beginning of each day, are told what the talking points of the day are, and then they all follow them.

Some of you may say, "well duh, of course they do that". I would say, unduh, that it is unethical to do that. The promotion of an unbending and synchronized political philosophy that is virtually the same amongst all of the anchors points to a channel that is not a news channel, but a propaganda promotion channel.

Is FoxNews television different? Yes. Fox anchors all have viewpoints that wouldn't really be confused with their fellow anchors, they may primarily be from the conservative viewpoint, but on any specific point, they don't all agree with each other.

MSNBC's coverage of Blagojevich borders on the embarrassing. MSNBC will superficially mention Blagojevich's Canadian prescriptions impeachment charge, then immediately say that there were other impeachment points worthy of impeachment and removal from office. Well, even if there were other more valid impeachment charges, the Canadian Prescription issue should NOT have been one of the charges that was brought forth. MSNBC chose to rationalize the Prescription impeachment charge by saying there were other valid charges, so it didn't matter.

How can anyone think it is sane to charge Blagojevich with impeachment for allowing Illinois residents the ability to get low cost prescriptions from Canada, especially when other state governors have already done it! How can anyone trivialize the effort to give elders free bus rides in those horrible Chicago winters? Just ask MSNBC, they'll gladly ridicule anything and everything that Blagojevich ever did, because they were most likely instructed to do so.

To this day, all MSNBC anchors still insist that John McCain was wrong back in September of 2008 for wanting to stop the debates so that he could focus his attention on the bailout proposals. If anyone were ever to go back over MSNBC's coverage of the original bailout votes, it would reveal some of the all time worst coverage for its slantedness of such a crucial event at such a critical time in our history.

Rather than admit to the world that MSNBC completely botched their coverage of the bailout votes back in September of 2008. MSNBC will forever paint John McCain as the fall guy for treating it as an incredibly important event. It is this kind of MSNBC media group think mind blather that I fear as we go forward as a nation.

Sarah Palin attacked again by MSNBC, "MSNBC Watch", how can we make this happen?

I believe the FCC is our biggest hope for reigning in fraudsters like MSNBC. I happened to catch part of David Schusters morning act Dec 02, 2008, when he sort of wings the news as it comes up. (later on he has his own one hour show with a bit more structure to it).

It looks to me like MSNBC flings their own editorials up on the screen and reports it as news. Schuster gave a big build up to a Sarah Palin interview at the governors convention in which he accused Palin of asking for government entitlements after being against them during the presidential race. It looked to me like Schuster never even saw the clip before they ran it. Schuster introduces the anti Palin viewpoint with a tone in his voice that implies that this is "Sarah being Sarah".

They run the interview clip of Sarah, it lasts around 1-2 minutes, and there is nothing in it to substantiate Schuster's claim. Schuster actually has to make an amended comment after the Palin clip is run because he KNOWS there is nothing there to substantiate the malicious, slandering build up.The problem is, the damage has been done. People who are sort of watching and not paying attention just sort of roll their eyes and assume it's "another Sarah Palin gaffe".

Just like many of the other MSNBC initiated "gaffe accusations" against Sarah Palin that have come before, this one is full of sound and fury, signifying nothing but MSNBC's attempt to stain Sarah Palin. My theory is that Arianna Huffington was behind this one, using her behind the scene access to try and spin crap against either Sarah Palin or Hillary Clinton.

On Schusters show later in the day, the spin has been altered to "the democrats smell blood" surrounding Sarah Palin and "are going in for the kill". Didn't Sarah Palin just help elect a Republican congress person in Georgia? Is this MSNBC's plan, to always try and defile anyone who helps achieve success against a Barack Obama plan or initiative?

Did MSNBC & POLITICO.com CIRCUMVENT IRS TAX LAWS by BARTERING?

Sure looks to me in the image above that MSNBC and Politico.com are bartering their services back and forth, but are they reporting this barter to the IRS? MSNBC gets an "authority" on a subject to appear for free on their television station, and in turn the guest pimps the name of their website in the background the ENTIRE TIME the guest is shown as seen above. This appears to me to be bartering, an exchange of services, which can be construed as income and therefore taxable.

I believe in live and let live, but the method above was one of the prime ways that MSNBC defeated Hillary Clinton this year. Pundits from Huffington Post, Daily Kos, Time, and Newsweek would appear on MSNBC and act like they were an impartial observer when they usually had a preordained position of supporting Barack Obama or slamming Hillary Clinton and her supporters. Many times, it appears that in lieu of being paid, the "Pundit" had a book they had written that would be publicized during their appearance, and on top of that the company they worked for (such as Time or Newsweek) was publicized by MSNBC as well.

This is a form of bartering, and since this privilege was abused by MSNBC to help Barack Obama defeat Hillary Clinton, I think payback, IRS payback, is in order. What do you think? If you know somebody who works for the IRS, ask them what they think.

Rachel Maddow's very special Thanksgiving Message, I kid you not.

I am flabbergasted. MSNBC roasted Sarah Palin for being interviewed while Thanksgiving Turkeys were being killed in the background. Meanwhile, Rachel Maddow gave a blessing over the image of the dead turkey below!
Can somebody explain why the pseudo intellectal Maddow can give a Thanksgiving day blessing on prime time television over the image of a headless roasted turkey and actually believe that this is somehow more "acceptable" than what Sarah Palin did???

If the Turkey pictured above was the same turkey being "prepped" during Sarah Palin's interview, would someone explain to me how Palin's interview was "worse" than what Maddow did? I think they are the same thing, and therefore you either accept BOTH, or you condemn both. Maddow's words over the picture of the roasted, DEAD, Turkey... "It is the night before Thanksgiving and even now we have many blessings to count" - Rachel Maddow.

Arianna Huffington of Huffington Post (Meant as Satire Only) Suffers Nervous Breakdown. (Meant as Satire only)

For the latest DailyPUMA article, click here.

Update (10 years later). Of all the DailyPUMA articles I have written over the years, why has this one suddenly gotten a bunch of hits? Context is... I was annoyed back in 2008 at how many entities had to get involved and influence the 2008 Democrat nomination process. Arianna Huffington was one of them. When one considers how difficult the road has been for woman to gain traction in higher positions of power and responsibility, two equally capable women, Hillary Clinton and Arianna Huffington, could find no common ground back then. While it probably was a good thing that we finally had an African American President, Barack Obama in my opinion was, as Arianna Huffington would later state,  "a bankcentric president", and who, in my opinion, screwed over millions of baby boomers when he cut them off from taking out a Home Equity Line of Equity if they had lost their job.  End of update, Sat. Oct. 4, 2019)

(The following is Hostile Satire).

It appears that Arianna Huffington never got over her own failed attempt at a TV show eleven years ago called Beat the Press. (I admit it was a great idea for a TV show, however I think Arianna needed either more than one co-host, or a different co-host). Perhaps unable to deal with the stress of other woman gaining more notoriety than herself, Arianna Huffington appears to have lost it. Has the continued success of both Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin ruined Rock Huffington? (now that's funny, no?).

As both Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin continue their successful political careers, the best Arianna Huffington can do is stay in the background, write an occasional book, get ignored, and stew about it.

It is believed that Hillary Clinton's desire to have her biggest detractors removed from Barack Obama's team as terms of her accepting Secretary of State have set Ms. Huffington into orbit.

Just last week Huffington was allegedly seen arguing with Keith Olbermann's make up person about adding a graying mustache and silver streaks to her hair so she could "do the news".

Cowering in the corner as Huffington attempted to apply silver mustache and matching silver branded hair to herself, Olbermann, known to rant at anything in a female form, decided the best course of action was to flee the station as he yelled, Scooby dooooo to the rescue.

Once Huffington was talked out of her desire to host Olbermann's show, she headed over to Rachel Maddow's set threatening to reveal that Maddow is Olbermann's altered ego, if she didn't get air time.

Huffington's takeover of the Maddow show lasted one night and was a resounding disaster. Only able to speak at half the speed and 1/5th the clarity of Maddow, Huffington held the Maddow show crew hostage for the entire hour as she shook her fist at the camera repeatedly and chortled througought the show, "I'm better than all of me put together."

Things would only get worse after Sarah Palin's interview in front of a Turkey "processing" plant which has set off additional bizarre behavior by Huffington. In a final fit of what can only be described as "I'm melting"... Huffington Post has run the following headline in an effort to derail the appointment of Hillary Clinton to Secretary of State...

One can only wonder who would give this person Venture Capital Funding to continue more of this same kind of petty garbage. (ouch, now that hurt).

Update: July 4, 2023). It's such a shame that the women of 2008 could not all get together and be on the same team because even though it may have been time for a black President, Obama's tenure ended Moderate Democrat Politics, literally, and what used to be tenable differences between Republican and Democrat policies have eroded into conflict far fiercer in tone and emotion.

The Nuttiness of MSNBC Exposed.

When John McCain wanted to cancel the first presidential debate and go to Washington so he could be involved in the design of the first bailout bill, MSNBC accused John McCain of using the bailout bill as a "diversion" to avoid debating Barack Obama.

The day the first bailout bill was to be voted on by Congress, MSNBC's position was that the bailout bill was just supposed to pass. Instead of objectively reporting about the bailout bill congressional vote, MSNBC openly lobbied that the bailout bill WAS SUPPOSED to PASS or there would be catastrophic consequences.

When the first Bailout Bill vote failed, MSNBC accused John McCain of not being able to deliver any votes towards the PASSAGE of the first vote on the bailout bill. This despite the fact that americans were calling in 20-1 AGAINST the Bailout Bill. MSNBC was tell dictating how John McCain should vote or risk being ridiculed on air!

When the second bailout bill passed, MSNBC portrayed Barack Obama as scholarly and intelligent and "working the phones" behind the scenes for its passage.

At one point, MSNBC promoted a ridiculously unscientific hastily put together automated phone poll that showed an overwhelming amount of americans felt the candidates should debate and NOT use the bailout bill as an excuse to cancel the first debate. MSNBC flogged this quickie phone poll over John McCain's head as "proof" that John McCain was afraid to debate Barack Obama when the public wanted it.

Based on John McCain's statement that McCain wanted to cancel the first debate and go to Washington and deal with the bailout bill, MSNBC set up John McCain to be mercilessly flogged no matter what McCain did next. When John McCain acquiesced to the MSNBC led pressure to not cancel the first debate, McCain was then accused by MSNBC of being a flip flopper for going to the first debate!

Ed Rendell and a few other top democratic officials created the same talking points that John McCain's "flip flopping" proved he couldn't run the country. It was as if MSNBC and company had shared a Destroy John McCain playbook and were reciting the same lines.

Now its 7 weeks later, and I witness Rachel Maddow on her show last night "incensed" that the bailout bill was rushed. YOU RUSHED IT! YOU, Olbermann, Matthews, Schuster, Contessa Brewer, ALL OF YOU RUSHED the PASSAGE of the BAILOUT BILL DURING YOUR BROADCASTS and USED IT AS A POLITICAL COMMENTARY TOOL against John McCain.

On practically a daily basis, I believe Maddow, Olbermann, Matthews, Schuster, Gregory, and Brewer blur the line between political COMMENTARY and NEWS reporting, I call it SPEWS.

MSNBC perpetually spews forth their commentary blather while masquerading it as news.

Until there is a big fat COMMENTARY splattered on the television screen for most of MSNBC's daily broadcast, MSNBC will continue to browbeat Women Politicians and anyone who is not for Barack Obama, while pretending they are just reporting the news.

I believe it is going to take intelligent filings with the FCC to reign MSNBC in.

Calling out MSNBC, show us your Republican VP list.

MSNBC just named more names of VP options that John McCain should have picked over Sarah Palin. So MSNBC, show us your Republican VP list. Show us how far down the list Sarah Palin would be, and then cry that you are not a sexist station. The farther MSNBC is able to make Sarah Palin fall, the harder it will be for Hillary Clinton to rise.
